These conditions are binding once you purchase any shore excursion provided by Athens Shore Excursion. The deadline for making shore excursion bookings online is 12 hours prior to arrival at Piraeus cruise port unless otherwise noted in the shore excursion description. All of the shore excursions listed on the www.athensshoreexcursion.com website are available for every cruise itinerary.

All excursions are subject to change without notice. Descriptions, departure times, itineraries, pricing, and locations may be altered and may vary due to unforeseen circumstances. Descriptions and excursion lengths are all based on approximate times and predetermined points of interest. Changes may be unavoidable and can be made at the tour operator’s sole discretion. Departure times and meeting places will be printed on the shore excursion voucher. As a delay may result in a missed excursion or interfere with the excursion’s normal operation, guests are required to report to the specified location, at the designated departure time.
You will be required to pay for your shore excursion order in full or deposit (balance cash to our driver) using our secure online booking and credit card processing. You will receive an instant online confirmation that your order has been paid in full or deposit. Your voucher will be delivered to your email on line.
Shore Excursion Cancellation and Refund Policy
Shore excursions may be canceled by the cruise company or the Athens Shore Excursion due to inclement weather conditions, or any other reason whatsoever. In which case, and as your sole recourse, full refunds will be made to guests who have purchased canceled excursions.
Sometimes the weather does not realize that our guests are on vacation and subsequently forgets to cooperate. It should be noted that our shore excursions operate rain or shine. At times, we will cancel particular excursions due to weather-related safety considerations. In this instance, refunds will be made for guests holding vouchers on a canceled excursion, and all efforts will be made to accommodate guests on an alternate excursion.
1. If you cancel your reservation 21 or more days prior to the scheduled arrival date of the private tour, your entire payment will be refunded.
2. If you cancel in less than 20 days prior to the scheduled arrival date of the private tour, 50% of your down payment will be refunded.
3. If you cancel eleven (11) days prior to the scheduled date of the private tour, 30% of your down payment will be refunded.
4. Custom designed bookings will always have a €25.00 per person not-refundable penalty for cancellation made at any time after the booking has been confirmed and the credit card charged.
Responsibility
Athens Shore Excursion is not responsible for any losses, damage, death, injuries, or claims whatsoever arising from, connected with, or related to any activities engaged in by guests. This includes all shore excursions, whether booked online, sold on arrival. Guests engage in all such activities at their own risk.
Restrictions.
Athens Shore Excursion has the right to require any individual to withdraw from an excursion at any time if they deem that individual’s conduct detrimental to or incompatible with the interests, comfort, well-being, or harmony of the group as a whole. Athens Shore Excursion reserve the right to alter or adjust excursions to meet local conditions for participant safety and convenience.
Pricing
Prices for shore excursions are quoted per person or vehicle, in € Euro and are subject to change without notice. Prices also vary by departure date and time. Some restrictions may apply. Private shore excursion prices do not include, meals, refreshments, official licensed tour guides, and entrance fees.
Prices and availability of tours are subject to change without notice. In the event that the tour or price quoted or advertised through our website, Athens Shore Excursion salesperson, sales agent, or any other source is booked, but is incorrect due to an electronic error, typographical error, human error, or any other error, causing the tour or price to be listed, quoted or advertised for an amount not intended by us, Athens Shore Excursion reserves the right to correct the erroneous fare, by requesting the Guest to pay the correct price intended, or by canceling the tour in exchange for a full refund, but in no event shall Athens Shore Excursion be obligated to honor such tour booking resulting from the error, or otherwise be liable in such circumstances.
Personal Possessions
Athens Shore Excursion will not be responsible for personal possessions. Do not leave your possessions unattended at any time, either in the vehicles in which you are traveling or otherwise. Remember coats, umbrellas, cameras, handbags, wallets, traveling bags, binoculars, and similar items remain, at all times throughout the shore excursion, under the guest’s custody and control.
Transportation
Please note that minibusses or motor coaches and other forms of transportation may require guests to climb 2 to 3 steps. Most, but not all vehicles, can accommodate collapsible wheelchairs. Staff is not obligated to lift guests into or out of vehicles.
Shore Excursion Promotional Code
Private Shore Excursion offers are only available online. Shore Excursions Purchases can be made up to 12 hours prior to cruise ship arrival in Piraeus cruise port.
Transfers Terms and Conditions
Unused transfer services are non-refundable. Transfers operate on the day of embarkation and debarkation only. Guests will be required to provide flight information via mail correspondence and when purchasing transfers. When flight details have been recorded, the updates are the responsibility of the guest. Athens Shore Excursion is not responsible for providing transfers for guests who schedule flights outside of the service times or provide incorrect flight information. The vehicle operator is an independent contractor. Athens Shore Excursion assumes no liability for losses, damages, or injuries in connection with the use of the operator. Athens Shore Excursion reserves the right to discontinue transfer service at any time. Prices and acceptable arrival times are subject to change without notice.
Insurance in Travel
We recommend that all passengers are adequately insured before traveling abroad. The latter is usually a prerequisite for most tour operators, who reserve the right to deny travel when proof of insurance cannot be provided.
Special Requirements
At the time of booking it is the customer’s responsibility to advise us of any special requests such as child car seat or mobility requirements for transfers and tours. Please note, however, these cannot be guaranteed.
Children’s Seats – The EU directive 2003/20/EC states that children must use an appropriate child seat until they reach the age of 12 years or until they reach a height of 135 cm. However, for licensed taxis, there is an exemption. If no child seat is available, children of 3 years of age or over may travel as long as they wear an adult seat belt. Children under 3 years of age may be transported without a seat belt or safety harness as long as they travel in the rear of the vehicle.
Wheelchairs – Any passengers traveling with a wheelchair must advise us at the time of booking, this is to ensure that the correct vehicle is available to meet your specific requirements. We will need to be informed if wheelchairs are folding, manual or include a battery and/or motor. This policy also applies to scooters.
Customer Service
We hope your travel arrangements run as smoothly as possible and that you will enjoy your holiday. However, if you have a complaint while you are in the resort, you must first report it immediately to the local representative of the supplier. If the problem cannot be resolved on the spot you should make a written complaint to the supplier’s representative in the resort and report the matter in writing to Athens Shore Excursion within 14 days of returning to your country. Please note that you should allow 28 days so that all issues raised can be concluded and resolved.
If you incur any out of pocket expenses when in the resort, you must obtain and keep any receipts detailing each cost. Failure to send in receipts as part of a complaint may waiver your right to claim back any monies owed.
Excess Luggage, Behavior & Liability
If you are carrying any excess luggage such as more than 1 bag per person, surfboards, golf clubs, bicycles, but not limited to, or other oversized items, you will need to inform us when booking to ensure we or, our suppliers can provide the correct vehicle. Should you fail to notify us, you will be liable for any additional costs incurred. in any case, if the above does not fit in the proposed vehicles will be an extra charge, which you will be informed and agreed.
Our suppliers reserve the right to terminate the transfer if you or your party’s behavior or conduct is disruptive towards the driver or other passengers. Neither we nor the suppliers will accept any liability for any extra costs incurred. Passengers are forbidden to consume alcoholic drinks on any transfer. Any costs incurred by you or your party due to damages on a transfer must be paid by you or your party at your destination and we or the supplier will not be liable for these costs.
In case such as we are acting, only as a booking agent we have no liability for any of the transfer arrangements, and in particular no liability for any illness, personal injury, death or loss of any kind, unless caused by our negligence. Any claim for damages for injury, illness, or death arising from your use of the transfer services, must be brought against the operator of the transfer services and will be under the jurisdiction of the law of the country in which the transfer is being provided.
